Deland comes from a wide background of experiences including careers in policing and sales, and founding an Internet Learning Company. Most recently, Deland has been teaching in the School of Management at Langara College while enjoying hiking and skiing at the local mountains with his wife and young son and daughter.

Joseph is recognized as one of the youngest industry leaders in the coffee world today. Joseph's skillful engineering practices and numerous proprietary innovations have put his companies at the forefront of coffee technology.
